Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026 · Operated by Nova Studio
1. About this tool
ViralRadar AI ("the tool") is a private research and analytics tool operated by Nova Studio. It is currently in a testing phase and is used by the operator and a small number of invited testers, free of charge. It is not offered to the public and there is no public sign-up.
2. Use of YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services to retrieve public data about YouTube videos and channels. By using YouTube data through this tool, you are also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Information the tool accesses
- Public video and channel data from the YouTube Data API: IDs, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publish dates, durations, categories and public statistics (views, likes, comment counts, subscriber counts).
- Public comments on public videos, including the public display name of the comment author.
- Invited testers: the operator may keep the name and email address of each invited tester, only to grant and manage access and to receive feedback. This information is not sold or shared, and is deleted on request or when the testing phase ends.
- This website does not use advertising cookies and does not include tracking or analytics scripts.
- The tool does not currently use Google sign-in (OAuth). If in the future it connects to the operator's own YouTube channels through OAuth, it will only read analytics of those channels, and access can be revoked at any time at the Google security settings page.
4. How the information is used
- To research which topics and formats perform well in specific niches, and to plan original content.
- To calculate the operator's own analytical indicators. These indicators are always labeled as the operator's own calculations and are kept separate from data provided by YouTube. Any financial figures are shown only as hypothetical scenarios clearly labeled as third-party estimates, never as YouTube data.
- Public comments are analyzed only in aggregate (for example, topics or moments mentioned). The tool does not build profiles of individual people and does not infer sensitive or protected characteristics (such as age, race, religion, political views, sexual orientation or health).
5. Storage, retention and deletion
- Data is stored locally on the operator's computer. It is not stored on public servers and is not published.
- Data obtained through YouTube API Services is stored only as long as needed, and no longer than 30 days, after which it is refreshed or deleted, as required by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
- If the project is accepted under YouTube's additional policies for derived metrics and data storage, public statistics (such as view, like, subscriber and comment counts) and derived metrics may be stored for up to 36 months. Other data, such as titles, descriptions, channel names and comment text, will continue to be refreshed or deleted every 30 days.
- Exported files are created only at the operator's request and never include API credentials.
6. Sharing
- Data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for advertising.
- The operator may use software tools, including AI assistants, to help analyze the information. These tools are used only to support the operator's own research.
- Data may be disclosed if required by law.
7. Your rights and requests
If you are a YouTube creator or commenter and want any public data related to you removed from the operator's local records before the regular deletion period, write to the contact below and the request will be handled promptly.
8. Changes
If the tool is ever offered to the public or as a paid service, this policy will be updated before that happens, and the effective date above will change.
